I. Purpose of

Verify that all
Gilbarco processes, parts and documentation comply with Gilbarcos Quality
Manual and ensure

that when
discrepancies are found, they are inputted in the required Quality system.

II. Key

  • Perform unit inspection, verifying functionality and
    compliance to order specifications
  • Maintain gages and assigned computer systems
  • Provide technical assistance to workplace associates.
  • Assist and help identify trends leading to the
    initiation of problem solving/process improvement efforts.
  • Participate in kaizen events
  • Support manufacturing operations
  • Utilize CMM and various other measuring equipment for
    Inspection purposes
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Background and Skill


    Associates (or higher) degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical,

    Industrial, Manufacturing) or 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

    • Knowledge of various manufacturing processes: milling/turning, sheet metal

    fabrication, powder coat painting, and electrical/mechanical assembly.

    • Basic knowledge of CMM equipment Strongly preferred
