BRETT Domestic Longhair Adult Male in Greensboro, North Carolina

My story
update 07/17/21: This animal is currently being treated for symptoms of an upper respiratory infection in our Isolation area, and is unavailable for meet-and-greet at this time. As soon as they are cleared, this memo will be updated.Brett is a 2-year-old male gray and white longhair cat. He was brought into the shelter as a stray by a Good Samaritan who found him limping on one of his hind legs. He had a few abrasions on his feet and legs, but has received treatment from our medical team and is cleared for adoption. The person who found Brett noted that: “He`s super chill and loves to lounge/stretch out when he`s comfortable.” At the shelter, Brett is often deceptively quiet at first glance, snoozing in his kennel, but he`s very loud when people come to visit! He`ll stretch and come up to say hello, meowing to demand his pets. He goes crazy for catnip. We are open by appointment only to ensure we can properly social distance here at the shelter. We cannot guarantee a specific pet or type of pet will be available at your appointment. We do not hold pets. We operate on a first come first serve basis and while you can put what/who you are interested in in the appointment sign up, all appointments are general dog/cat/other animal appointments since we cannot guarantee what will be available at the time of your appointment. If you would like to set up a non-specific dog or cat appointment we have our scheduling system online now at: http://petadoption.guilfordcountync.govAll adopted cats and dogs at Guilford County Animal Services come fully up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.
